The darkness is suffocating, claustrophobic,
buried alive, 6 feet beneath the surface,
tons of dirt between me and her, Freedom.
Let me out!
Screams swallowed by the shadows,
angels shed no tears for me and
no liight waits at the end of a tunnel
that does not exist to the damned.
I will have her!
Splinters embedded under my skin,
the lid gives way and dirt leeks in,
like the sand in an hourglass.
Freedom!
Keep your roses, I'm not dead.
